Re: Chef says gluten intolerance is all in your head

"Will me Riggs...will me!" Nice reference Michael.

I really wish gluten intolerance was all in my head--wait, it is! I get a head ache and congested when I have a gluten feast. If it was in my...

Re: Stair Climbing Race Advice?? (Chicago's Hustle Up the Hancock)

Try the following:

I named it "Alayna"
22-16-10
pistols
jumping lunges
24" box jumps

if you can't do pistols, sub 135 lb front squat. If you don't have boxes, do tuck jumps.

Re: Clean feedback

Once you clean the weight, bring your feet back under your hips before you press and you will get a lot more power.

Re: Well, it feels better - squats and benches

It appeared that the last few reps in set 2 and 3 had lower back rounding. I could be wrong, but that is what it looks like in the video. Regarding the knees going in, the last rep in both set 2...

Re: Deadlift Critique

I second what David and Derek said.

I would not suggest dropping your hips much, if at all, just fight for the curve in your back--maybe try getting your chest out more. If you drop your butt...

Re: Push jerk

From 65 kg on up, you did come forward on your toes a lot, and you pushed from them. Weight needs to stay on the heels and you need to push from the heels. Also, it appeared that you did not have...

Re: Lawsuit brought against CF affiliate

For those military guys and gals: be ready. The commanders may try to outlaw Crossfit and its workouts, but it will be next to impossible. If they say you can't do Fran, then don't! Do 22-16-10...

Re: Your favorite crossfit video?

My fav is the recent vid from the Games of Kallista Pappas (sp?) completing the 100 lbs C&J's for 30 reps. That was freaking awesome.

Re: Is a Crossfit cert accredited

From talk with CF customer service, they are working on getting GI Bill approved. If that happens, then maybe TA will cover it, as well.
