Re: How will these events be paired ?

Could be. I'm just judging by comps I have been in previously. I have done a workout with 50 Burpee over bar between you and your partner then a 2 rep max OHS in a certain time. Maybe 5 - 8 min. ...

Programming Pull-ups after injury

So I tore the tendon that attaches my pec and shoulder on my left side in February of last year doing bar MU's. I opted not to have it surgically fixed as it was a time sensitive surgery and my wife...

Re: How will these events be paired ?

Well I would say Burpee over bar and clean and jerks more than likely. Possibly the OHS and run. The others I couldn't guess. Or the wall balls with the run since both have the med ball

Good luck

Re: IPAD timer for CF

4Time is really good. Has intervals Tabata stopwatch. You can set your interval times as well.

Re: Reebok Nano 4.0's

How did you use your GOVX discount on road runner sports? I'm a GOVX member but I have never heard of using it on another site?

Re: Rogue bar 2.0

I guess I am not quite understanding the difference so my question is, is the Froning bar and the new 2.0 bar basically the same bar? The Froning bar being more expensive sense it carries his name? ...

Re: Reebok Nano 4.0 size reference

When I tried on the 3.0 it was huge on my foot in 10.5 and the 2.0's I normally wear are perfect. I guess I can just order a 10.5 and 10 and return which ever one doesn't fit.

Re: Reebok Nano 4.0 size reference

I have nano 2.0 and wear size 10.5. But when I tried on the 3.0 I would wear a size 10. I plan to order the 4.0 but am also curious about the size.

Re: Games events

Max thruster. Seems super popular in my area in local competitions. The "cluster". Squat clean thruster.

Re: CrossFit bumper plate list

You might want to visit the Vulcan website and do a little research. A set of 340# is under $550 with tax included. You cannot piece the same set together plate by plate. I just checked and it is...

Re: CrossFit bumper plate list

If it helps I just did some digging and saw that Vulcan actually warranties their bumpers (HG) model from 55-25 for 36 months. I have not seen that elsewhere.

Re: CrossFit bumper plate list

Vulcan actually emailed me today to inform me that their bumper plates have free shipping! And the thickness is less than standard HG plates. I did not know this as I have old Vulcan plates and the...

Re: CrossFit bumper plate list

Vulcan HG's are about $100 bucks cheaper for 1000# than rogue for the same plate. Vulcan also sells a bar and bumber combo for $719 for the bar and 305#. Not a bad deal. Like I said though shipping...

Re: CrossFit bumper plate list

Vulcan also makes an Econ plate that is identical to the Rogue HG's. I have some of both and can't tell the difference unless I look at lettering. They are also made in China. I think it was...

Re: If I was Dave Castro . . .

The mission would be awesome! Have like a Go Ruck challenge on Wednesday then start normal games on Friday to rest after the Go Ruck style event.

Re: Amateur division

Who cares if anyone is watching or if the games would be televised. I like the idea because it would give everyone else a chance to compete. And I do think there would be a market for it. Saying no...

Re: 14.3 funny thinking about it

What's the thought of losing A high level games competitor this week to a back injury? I think more likely a man, and it will happen in the 275 to 315 weight as it will be a moderate weight that the...

Re: 14.3 funny thinking about it

35 DL's at 365 will be hard for anyone to finish. Especially after the round of 30 at 315 just prior. I see several people into the 365 round but not finishing. I foresee a lot of singles and not...

Re: partial rupture of the pectoralis major

I think we have a very similar if not the same injury. Look at the thread titled torn pec. I am hesitant of surgery at the moment as well.

Re: Torn Pec ?

Is there a chance that the injury can worsen or is the weakness I have now where I will be permanently? Will the weakness increase with time if I do not have surgery?
