Yes he has been successful, but every fight he's had that was really hard he basically quit in. Which is a product of having so much early success and being told how great he is

Well cross fit is an excellent program too. But eventually you'll need to tweak things to continue to make gains in specific areas

Marv Marinovich is a former player for the Raiders and their former S&C coach and head talent scout. Among his scouting picks were Howie Long. Most teams didn't think he had the talent but Marv did....

If your goal is to get a lot stronger, than your training should be heavily biased towards strength. You can get significantly stronger and maintin CF wod times, or maintain strength and improve CF...

For an untrained person gains in all areas is very doable, but as time goes on continuing to gain in every area is increasingly difficult. That's what makes decathletes and heptathletes so impressive.
