fear of heights
OK today at PT this morning we didn't do crossfit but we did some obstacle course stuff and i had the unpleasing of revisiting the fact that i have an extreme fear of heights. But it made me think, this greatly affects my ability to unlock my full potential in workouts. i.e. rope climbs and HSPU's. how do I go about getting over this weakness so I can move on and start really WOD killin. thanks for the help.

Re: fear of heights
Conditioning to the fear.... put these movements in your warm up so you do them everyday

Re: fear of heights
Gonna agree with stephen. Exposure is the answer.
I do roofing work, and I have had guys come to work who are afraid of heights(you'd think they would pick another occupation I know). They either get better with time or quit. |
