The biggest issue for me with the Elite rings is how hard they are to thread. My rings are outside, so I take them down every time I use them. I would never be able to do that with the old Elite rings because I find threading them a nightmare. Rogue ones thread in a second, no problem.

And, I still like the feel of the metal much more than plastic.
I can't say anything about the feel but as far as speed of setting them up, once you set up the thread once, it's done. They have an S-buckle with the new rings that lets you literally set it up in 5 seconds and it keeps whatever length you last set it as. Here's the video (wfs)

Re: Hi from a new member

the new EXF rings are really sweet with the three grip textures and quick set-up.

Re: Hi from a new member

Tyler is the daddy!

Those new straps look ace...i feel your pain Tamara lol but it does get easier setting them up with practice (ie a few hundred times later it only takes 5mins now )

Must say my Elite rings are starting to separate a little around the join - gonna have to tape them abit. But ive had years of usage out of them.

Bought my rings years ago from Tyler and despite changing my order at the last moment (to get a yankie crossfitter to bring them over to UK and save on postage) he took it all in his stride and was very helpful. Wouldnt hesitate to buy from him again.
