Re: 100 day burpee challenge

I think it is pretty simple, start day one and do one burpee; day two, two burpees; day three, three burpees, all the way to 100.

Re: 100 day burpee challenge

right around day 60 you start thinking "WTF?"; but around day 75 it oddly gets easier again, not sure what it was.

good luck and enjoy your 5000+ burpees

Re: 100 day burpee challenge

Finally finished my 100 Burpee Challenge on 2/1. Kind of feel like I'm missing something through the day now, thinking about starting it again. I can for sure say that my wind has improved, and I have also added 30 pounds to my max back squat (415#). DO BURPEES!!!

Re: 100 day burpee challenge

I just finished my first one in January. You do get withdrawals from them. It was definately an obscession to get them done. I had to balance them off with a lot of ring rows, and strict pullups for my shoulders. They definately made me stronger. Magically, my bench press, and deadlifts are better. It was great for the core. I did joint mobility for my shoulders and hips before doing them. Burpees are probably the best bodyweight exercizes that do not require equipment. If you've got pullup bars handy, GI Jane style burpees are interesting as a variation.

Re: 100 day burpee challenge

Is there a burpee challenge for advanced people? Maybe a 30 day challenge where you increase by 2?

1 year burpee challenge. Start with one a day, increase by one every day till you get to a year. Start with a leap year to make it more difficult.

That would be 66,795 burpees. Have fun with that.
