In house Throwdown

In 5 mins complete heavy complex:

4 Front Squats
2 Thrusters - 87.5k, 92.5k fail, 90k fail.

For time
21-15-9
Wall Balls
Burpees
Toes to bar - 5.35

Chipper - after each exercise run 100m
50 KB Swings
40 Box Jump overs
30 Hang power cleans 55
20 Pull ups
10 HSPU - 8.40

Ended up winning but couldn't do it lazily as was in first heat so getting chased

Yes Vic I follow the CompTrain but I do change it up a bit to focus on my weaknesses, although had a couple of comps lately which has derailed my training slightly

I think it's still possible for us both to qualify next year, the influx of new people and of course the increase in cheating don't help, probably only 17 places up for grabs as 3 of them just put the score in they need, and change it as necessary.

The cycling sounds like a good distraction, give you something to be competitive with why your waiting to turn 50 properly

Yes cycling is a good distraction. After the worlds last weekend my bike has been collecting dust.. hehe.

Maybe hit some Air Assault bike in stead.. but hate that thing.

Funny I'm saying it maybe but it's actually quite serious and will get worse. Make masters regionals and the problem will just move down the order which would suit us as we can get top 20 in our region easily.... without making up scores too.

That Holley man time is legit.. good job. I have problems with 225# power cleans. Usually the day when that workout shows up.

Yes last year when my knees were stopping my strength work it took me 10 minutes longer.

I struggled cleaning it neatly before the workout started, but after 5 or 6 rounds it got comfortable. I'm weird like that.

We have Glen tomorrow for our remembrance day WOD.
