Awww, crap- Why'd you have to go and link to that?? There goes my shot at finding out why there's no nutrition certs listed (although I do like the PaNu blog, and I'll keep staring hard at the spoon).....

Countdown pool to this thread being closed; any takers??

Jamie, I said permanent replacement. maybe sears was only brought in to do the certs that were remaining on the schedule, and HQ is waiting until they get somebody else before posting new ones...i don't know.

Losing lots of $$$$ by not having a nutrition cert is another bad idea. Although, I'm not shocked at your response. You're still in the matrix.
They certainly are losing lots of money by not having nutrition certs on the schedule, particularly headed by somebody as knowledgeable and popular as Robb. They're also losing money by not posting a new level II in 3-4 months...but with 4 Level I certs a weekend, I think they'll be okay, don't you?

your allegiance is not well disguised, btw...but I think you and the rest of the guys over there would be surprised by mine.

OR maybe HQ or a mod that actually KNOWS SOMETHING could chime in and spare all your apparent ennui.

Unless it's 100% in stone, they could care less how much we all speculate here on the forums... and if it were 100%, you'd see it on the mainpage. This is pretty standard for major organizational changes in companies. A mod isn't going to come on and say "Well, we had Sear's lined up for taking over, but we're checking into these 2 other people, so who knows?".

Not much point arguing on this...

Allegiances? Really? I'm pretty new to Crossfit and other than the hilariously random WOD "programming", the cult-like stuff is the most off-putting.

I just want to find interesting workout and nutrition ideas. Why did this thread devolve into an argument about "allegiances"? Do people actually have an "allegiance" to anything fitness related?

Anyway, I also would like to know what the deal is with the nutrition certs. HQ would be well served to just say something rather than letting people speculate.

Re: Nutrition Certs

Maybe they're waiting for a Rep from Taco Bell to get back to them?

Let me answer you by paraphrasing a long-vanquished Coach Sommer:

Every legitimate observation about cf is seen as questioning the worthiness of cf itself.

No one at HQ seems to be able to admit fault -- in anything and Renee likes to toe the party line.
