Clean and Jerk Form Problem

Greetings Crossfit Universe,

Here are a few recent clean and jerks. Couple things I'd like addressed in addition to anything else you might find:

1. Why does my head consistently shift to the left on heavier weight jerks (my left shoulder is messed up and it hasn't been 100% in a year... is that it?)

2. When the jerks get heavy, I get under and lock out, but then when I feel the weight come down from the apex of the motion, my locked out arms buckle a bit, and then I have to give a small press-out. How can I shoot into the lockout without having the weight come down and kink my arms? Is it a strength thing?

Thanks ya'll! All links w/f/s.

280# - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aUgYkHndvA - Someone walks in front of the camera briefly right at the jerk, but, you can get the jist that it was pretty terrible.

Thanks everyone!

Can't really tell much of anything from the straight on angle. Cant see foot position, dip meechanics or bar path. From what I can see I dont see anything that looks bad technically.

maybe try a little wider on the catch? My catch is narrow also, might help a little getting under the bar faster and locking easier. Worked for me at 225# Just my $.02

Re: Clean and Jerk Form Problem

Back heel needs to be up more so you are on the ball of the foot.

on the 255, your rack gets lowered a bit during the dip but I don't see it happen again with the heavier jerks.
