Re: The Outlaw Way

Hey people,

It seems like The Outlaw Way involves a lot of work (volume). What would be a good progression to ease into it instead of just jumping in from say 3 days a week strength+metcon training?

Mo/We/Sa

then, after 2-3 weeks

Mo/We/Fr/Sa

then, after 2-3 more weeks

Mo/Tu/We/Fr/Sa

Does that seem reasonable?

So far, the first 4 events are hitting her strengths.
I'm sure she is smiling - just a bit.

Well first transition phase would probably to just use their mainpage gym workout which alternates strength and Olympic Lifting + WOD.

Adding a day every 3 weeks may be doable. It all depends on where you are coming in from.

Re: The Outlaw Way

If anyone is interested in attending the Denver Outlaw training camp, I need to sell my spot. Dates are Aug 9-11.

Re: The Outlaw Way

Does anyone remember who Rudy said who he has in mind when he creates metcons? It was one of "his" athletes I think and he said he has a good idea of how long it will take them to finish the conditioning piece.

Re: The Outlaw Way

I think it was Jason Hoggan, I believe that's his name anyway. He made the games last year.
