Re: SealFit??

It's more intended for longer durations thancrossfit, more for endurance athletes, I reckon. Not sure though

Re: SealFit??

I looked at it a while ago....pretty brutal. Take a crossfit workout, add a calestenics workout and then an endurance workout. Probably great for guys getting ready for BUD/S or any other specwar screener but I can see people easily burning out on this.

Yeah you really have to pay attention to your diet and listen to your body.

Excellent program and utilizes a variety of training methods beyond CrossFit.

Yes, to what Jonathan wrote. If there's that much work involved be prepared for your meals to feel like workouts too.

Re: SealFit??

I do the Sealfit WOD's (to some extent) 2-3 times/week. They're brutal (always take 1 hour+).Make sure you're physically prepared for it because you can lose some effect if you're not getting that intensity on the metcon each day.

But if you're looking for a real challenge that will keep that lactic acid up, sealfit WOD's will do it on a consistent basis.

Perhaps you are talking about Myth? I have checked out his blog and post on the site. The guy can do work.

The sealfit program is a "go long" program. It is intense. You really have to tackle it with all your intensity everytime. I would follow 2-3 times a week while I was home becuase I had the equipment. It is a different story. Plan on following it as schedualed when I get home from Iraq and buy my own gear.

Really cool programing.

Can't wait to follow it as Rx'ed when I get home.
