Rogue Reverse Hyper moving backwards?

Does anyone with the Rogue version of the Reverse Hyper have a problem with it sliding backwards during the return portion of the swing. Mine started moving after putting more than 85lbs on per side. I have tried weighting down the legs with dumbbells and/or sandbags but it still moves when enough enertia is built up.

I have e-mailed Rogue about the potential of them offering for sale mounting legs similar to what they offer for the S1/S2/S3 stands but I have not gotten a response.

If anyone else has this issue and a solution I would welcome any ideas.

Thanks

Maybe use higher weight dumbells/plates?

At my previous box, we bolted it to some 2x4s (I think they were 2x4s) ... also helped with clearance; solved the problem.

Re: Rogue Reverse Hyper moving backwards?

Thank you Andy. I might try that. I have heard of mounting the RH on 4X4's; however, Rogue did respond to this question and stated they did not recommend it due to stability concerns. Might have try it anyway. Thanks again...

Yeah 4x4s. I'm sure they have to recommend it for liability purposes. We never had a problem.

Re: Rogue Reverse Hyper moving backwards?

Thanks for the info. I've had the same problem. Mounted it to 4x4's last night. It seems to have corrected the sliding.

Re: Rogue Reverse Hyper moving backwards?

Did you have yours on a concrete floor or on a mat? Mine is on a cheap rubber/foam mat they sell at sporting good stores for treadmills/bikes and it doesn't move.

Also, its OK to get some inertia, but you should have some eccentric control on the way down.

Re: Rogue Reverse Hyper moving backwards?

Mine is on a diamond plate pattern rubber mat and it moves. I was hoping Rogue might offer a suggestion...

Re: Rogue Reverse Hyper moving backwards?

Could you cut out the rubber under the feet so it sits inside the mat? That might be enough to keep it in line.

Re: Rogue Reverse Hyper moving backwards?

I though of cutting the mat but I am concerned it would negatively effect the clearance of the swing when the 35lb plates are attached.
