Rogue Echo Bumpers

http://www.roguefitness.com/rogue-ec...per-plates.php (WFS)

How do these rate against the Rogue HG/Pendlay V2 plates? Can you use them together?

Re: Rogue Echo Bumpers

Looking at the specs, these are slightly thicker than the HG's.

Re: Rogue Echo Bumpers

Because they are made in China, I'm sure there is a supplier that sells these exact plates. Does anyone know know of another company that sells these same bumpers. I wouldn't mind buying these but want a legit review to see how durable they are.

Re: Rogue Echo Bumpers

It's my understanding that while the logo obviously changes, the basic black bumper plates come from the same plant in China. Rogue, Fringe, Again Faster... all the same plant.

The HI-Temps are excluded as they are made in Alabama, but the rest are more or less the same thing.

If you're buying 25's and bigger, you'll never break them. However with 10's and 15's, you'll break them eventually no matter who they are from if you use them as tech plates.

It's all about the best price with basic bumpers imo

There are multiple plants in China making bumper plates. Even at the same plant, they can use multiple formulations and designs for various customer preferences or cost-savings.

Ryan's response to this above is correct. There are many different plants in China producing bumper plates and there are also variations in the same plant as to exact rubber formula, width, tolerance, etc for the different companies they sell to. One Chinese bumper plate is not the same as another
Chinese bumper plate.

I have seen even 25/35/45 lb bumpers give way over time on some of the lesser brands. The OneFitWonder bumpers appear to be the best that I know of in terms of durability over time. Everything from the set of the steel insert (i.e. it does not loosen over time) to the integrity of the rubber (minimal/no cracks) to the vastly increased lifetime of 10s and 15s, they are awesome.

Not sure about these new Rogue bumpers though, haven't seen them yet.

Re: Rogue Echo Bumpers

These things are brand new to rogue, like within the last week. I wouldn't think too many people have put their hands on them to give a lot of reviews yet. If someone has purchased them I would love to here a review. Personally I have used Hi-temps at the box and HG at home and I love my HG's.

Re: Rogue Echo Bumpers

Jason I agree with you that I'm just looking for a good review. What I meant by my original post is that a lot of the companies use the exact same bumpers and just put their name on it. So I didn't know if anyone maybe had used these same bumpers from a different company. It's pretty hard to tell that they are the same though. I just ordered a set of rogue color competition plates and would love a set of bumpers that I can use for outside work and things that could damage the comp plates. Can't wait to get reviews on these

Re: Rogue Echo Bumpers

The look of these and the sheen on them look very similar to the Again Faster bumper plates. (wfs) https://www.againfaster.com/shop/bum...r-plates-pair/
