250# beltless barefoot below parallel back squat
115# knees locked shoulder press
275# beltless barefoot standard stance straight bar deadlift

640 total

Strength and bodyweight still down from illness. These were max efforts....I had no more left today.

Rest 5 minutes.

WOD with 20# weight vest:

17 rounds kipping pullups....just barely made it. Forearms too beat to attempt any more reps; not worth a possible callous tear (what little callouses I have left).

At work: 8 min jerk set.

I had a request to post what I routinely eat for a couple days. Workdays are pretty much the same as outlined below. I work 10 hour days and am paid not to have a lunch break - I have to eat while working. As a result, food never stays hot and it's hard to speak clearly on the radio and phone with food in my mouth. So it's pretty much liquid lunches all day.

After AM workout:

Green blender drink:
1 cup homemade coconut kefir water or homemade rejuvelac
Organic Kale
Organic broccoli sprouts
1/2 lime with as little of the white peel removed as possible
1/2 small apple
Organic parsley
Organic mint leaves


1 cup water
1 scoop fiber powder
1 heaping tbsp dessicated liver powder
16 Maca powder capsules (Maca tastes so wretched I had to make capsules from the powder)

At work (this makes two to four drinks for the day depending on how much milk I need to consume before the next delivery day):

1-2 cups homemade raw milk kefir
1-2 cups homemade raw milk yogurt
2-4 scoops Mercola protein powder
1-2 cups frozen organic berries
2-3 heaping tbsps almond butter (I will be making my own raw soaked/dried
nut butters as soon as my store bought containers are empty)

Thermos with 16 oz water with 2 tbsps raw apple cider vinegar

At home:

4-6 oz pasture raised/finished beef or lamb or wild caught fish
HUGE salad of organic greens, organic soaked/dried walnuts, organic sprouted flax seeds, feta cheese and organic macademia nut oil

6 minute 20k kb snatch set: 40L/36R. Duct taped 10# of soft wrist weights to one side of a 16k bell. Feels a little weird, but it works. At least if one falls off it won't damage a feline or a foot.

5 minute break

Bwt 112#.

5 minute doubleunders: 41 single doubleunders
5 minute 95# squat clean and jerks: 13
3 minute doubleunders: 19 single doubleunders
3 minute 95# squat clean and jerks: 10
1 minute doubleunders: 10 single doubleunders
1 minute 95# squat clean and jerks: 5

Far more doubleunders than 040425. It certainly isn't because I've practiced them; the previously "doubleunder trained" beaded rope (thank you Lynne!) is easier for me to use than anball rubber or leather one.

I'm leaving for Costa Rica in a week. The beaded jumprope, Lifeline Jungle Gym and a deck of cards is coming along - a great time to get better at jumping rope!

Three rounds for time of:
Run 800 meters
50 Back Extensions
50 Sit-ups

18:30 - Solid ice outside; subbed rowing for running. Back extensions using GHD and anchored situps.

After work: 7 minute kb snatch set, OHS practice and jump rope practice. I don't want to be looking completely novice at jumping rope on the cruise ship. My brother would never let me live it down.

Crossfit WOD: 5x5 front squats.

ATA beltless and barefoot front squats:

115, 120, 125, 130, 135 x 5

26# strict pullups (throat touching bar, full one second dead hang before every rep):

5x5

Finished with another set of 145x5 front squats and 10 TSC pullups with 26#.

7 minute 24k snatch set: 40L/30R. 10 rpm. Hand switch at 4 minutes. I wanted to see if I could go four minutes with my weaker hand. No problem; I may even have been able to continue to five minutes. While I don't think I can manage 10 minutes yet, I know I'm capable of eight. All "resting" was done overhead.
