Re: Sleeveless In Seattle

Holla!

Nice to see you back and posting. Good job with today's workout - slow pistols are even harder, I think.

In Awesomeness,
Diesel B.

"Michael"

Three rounds for time of:
Run 800 meters
50 Back Extensions
50 Sit-ups

AS RX'D 24:29

CFE WOD 6-14-08
Bike: 20M at 80% for first 10M then pick it up to 90% or more on the last 10M

i was very nervous about tHIs workout. i read the workout wrong as well and did 20M @ %80 and an additional 10M @ %90. it ended up being 30miles bouncing between %65-95. i can't remember the last time i biked that far. 102min 38sec
i'll take it

Shoulders Much?

CFE WOD

i did it at noon with the speed at 7.5 on the treadmill, it was a nasty 4 minutes. next time i will do 7.8 or 8

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Main Site WOD
Seven rounds for time of:
75 pound Shoulder Press, 21 reps
21 Back extensions

as rx'd
23:28

shoulder press sets:
1-21
2-14,7
3-4,4,4,3,3,3

5-4,4,3,3,3,4
6-3,3,3,3,3,3,3

i should have paced myself better at the begining. the last 3 rounds were too slow due to failed reps.

Back from Dallas

went to Texas for 5 days, here's what i did....

6-19-08

9am
10 rounds for time of:
30 Double Unders
20meter underwater swim
10 push-ups
20meter underwater swim
15:38
I wore a full face mask during the entire workout which was tough on my breathing. Fun workout, it was nice having a pool at my dad's to be able to use.

10am
Six Flags Over Texas!
Rode my dad and girlfriend to the ground, very fun. It turns out that jumping out of planes and all that stuff makes roller coasters easy. i set a new PR of riding Superman 11 times in a row. I could have done more, but there atarted to form a line. I hate lines.

5pm
Rock Climbing until 8pm
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

6-21-08
30 muscleups for time:
18:28
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

6-22-08
taught my girlfriend how to shoot hand guns and went water skiing

Kickball MVP!

Played my first kickball game of the season today, and I got MVP of the game. They didn't give me a trophy or anything, but it was really kind of a huge deal.

3pm
spent 3 hours at the climbing gym working on some stuff and finished with speed climbing and beat my previous best on a route by 3.5 seconds.

7:30pm
Lynne-modified
Five rounds for max reps of:
Ring Push-ups
Ring Pull-ups
-done with body armor and 4min between rounds-

1 17/10
2 20/10
3 15/8
4 13/8
5 14/7

79/43=122total reps

I wasn't too surprised at the low reps, but the ratio of push-ups to pull-ups was unexpected. Either my back and other flexor muscles were smoked from climbing keeping my pull-up reps low or I should have done ring dips as the substitute for the bench press. Next time will be as rx'd and if I need to modify again I will do ring dips and pull-ups with no vest.
