Cancer survivor issues
I want to start Crossfit to get fit, lose weight. I am a 2-year colon cancer survivor. Chemo caused nerve damage in my feet (neuropathy) to the point that most of my feet are numb causing balance issues. I also have a handful of titanium in my lower back (10+ years ago), a torn ACL in my left knee that never got repaired (Navy doctors!)(20+ years ago). Woefully out of shape & overweight.
Is Crossfit possible for me? ![]() |

Re: Cancer survivor issues
Of course it is...
![]() That is why when you go to a box the first time to tell the coach about your challenges and he or she will scale everything for you. It may be a little tough from the start but over time you will reep the benefits. CF and boxes are better than going to your local gym (globo), they will understand you, listen to you and get you going. All the best and ![]() ![]() |
