Great job, Laura! You've really came a long way in a short amount of time, which shows your determination and dedication to training. Now, if I could only get my DW (that's Dear Wife :-) to CrossFit.......

Don't give up on the wife, Michael! It only took Jason and Ricky (my DKBTs - Dastardly KickBoxing Teachers) a couple of months to get me into crossfit! LOL.

Really - Crossfit is 20 percent ability and 80 percent stubborness. I never give up - I whine a lot, but I don't stop working out. Quitting is the only kind of failure I won't admit to. ;)

Laura - your story is similar to mine right down to our height and the weight and weightwatchers. I love crossfit. Sometime you might want to pop over to the weightwatchers.com message boards and visit me on the fitness challenge boards. I hang out in the "Makin' Muscles" group where I have slowly been introducing the crossfit ideas to those folks.

Hi, Beth!
Yes, I'm paying close attention to you and the other ladies who post here: Lynne and Kelly - I know there are more...I can't think of everyone here.Gives me something to shoot for, since I can't really catch up to the muscle men like Ryan and Josh etc.

I'll go see you on the messgage boards on WW. Makin' muscles is makin' the scale crazy, but for now, I'll deal. LOL.

Thanks for sayin' hi. :-)

Congratulations on your progress Laura! Did you ever return the favor and get your MIL involved?

LOL Ryan! She'd have to do the Grandma version of Diane - 21-15-9 reps of getting up out of a chair, picking up the cat for time. LOL.

Thanks! You and the other regulars are a big inspiration to a beginner like me. :-)

Hey, just had an idea (first time today)!
Beth ought to travel down in March for our little competition. That way you guys can tag team my wife on the Crossfit philosophy. She still thinks I'm obsessed. She's probably right, but so what!
Hope everyone had a joyous Thanksgiving. We did, and we were at the MIL's!!
