They aren't bad, they just don't belong in a squat rack.

Push up off bar was a 45 degree angle push up, which may be a reasonable way to build up to a real push up, but why not do wall push-ups or use a bench rather than a bar in a squat rack?

Gain credit for doing good exercises, lose credit for using up the only squat rack for a long time when there are fine alternatives available.

Re: Seen at the globo yesterday

Another from today - L-sit bench press (back on bench, legs straight up) morphing into N-sit bench presses (back on bench, thighs up, shins down and crossed).

Someone actually did tricep pushdowns with elbows down and still on every rep. I had thought having the elbows moving to straight out, or higher, on every rep was part of the official form at my gym, presumably to get a full ROM.

Lol... yeah... I have used those pads in the past to protect my shins as well... I cut the crap out of them during the middle of a set and started bleeding like a stuck pig. The manager at my globo was not to happy... I can't say I blame them... there was quite literally a little pool of blood on the floor next to me. I figured the protection would at least keep my shins from bleeding everywhere... in the end I hated those things though so I switched to long pants and / or long socks....

I don' care about the cuts... just didn't like bleeding everywhere... the gloves though... not sure what to say

This is awesome. I'll bet swinging the bar out of the way of the gas mask on the thrusters took a little getting used to.

I normally would try to avoid posting videos of other people from Youtube in this thread, but when I saw this one I just couldn't help myself:

I'll have to use that bouncing thing next time I need to get the barbell up for OHS or you know.. something meaningful. ******s like this act like this in order to attract attention to themselves in the gym.

I still love the movie of the lady dancing on the treadmill more

Around the 1 minute mark I thought, "you know, you wouldn't have to clean that with your bum so high if you stepped away from the... oh. Fail."

Awesome. I think that's a new Olympic move: the seated bounce-and-jerk.
