Jakub's SS Log

21/m/165/5'11"

Goals: Gain a few pounds but more importantly get a lot stronger.

I am going to follow a a Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday cycle with cardio a couple times a week on my off days.

1RM
Squat: ~250 lb
Bench: ~175 lb
Deadlift: ~200 lb
Press: ~110 lb
Power Clean: ~145 lb

Tuesday July 1, 2008

Starting Weights
Squat: 95 3x5
Bench: 85 3x5
Dead: 85 1x5

Felt easy. Could have probably added another 10 to the bench and deadlift but I'm gonna listen to Rip and start off lighter than heavier.

EDIT: Just weighed myself and I'm actually 170 lb.

So I got caught up with work and school and SS didn't go as planned. i'm done with summer school so im just gonna focus on doing the WOD and strict zoning. Starting Saturday I'm following the WOD until the end of the moment and follow strict Zone since today. Here is what I've eaten so far today:

Breakfast:
5 egg whites ~17.5 grams protein (I have one egg white containing 3.5 g protein)
1.5 scoop protein ~21 g protein
3/4 cup oatmea ~45 g carbs
15 almonds ~7.5 g fat
1 fish oil capsule ~1 g fat

Lunch:
2 kiwi ~18 g carbs
1 peach ~9 g carbs
7 cherries ~9 g carbs
6 oz. drained tuna ~30 g protein (for some reason Starkist has less protein)
1 tbsp. mayo ~ 10 g fat
1 fish oil capsule ~1 g fat

iI'll post more gonna go eat dinner now.

~2-3 cups broccolli/cauliflower covered in olive oil ~18-36 g carbs
1 kiwi ~9 g carbs
1 large chicken breast ~35 g protein
10 almonds ~5 g fat

Woke up kinda late so i didnt have enough time in the day to eat my two snacks.

Man good luck on the zone, I just don't have the discipline to do it much less the abelity to cook. i goess diet is one of my major down falls. I eat allright ,but mot great. How is the ss going?
