Re: Path of Glory

1 min for reps, 1 min rest in between, take total

65# back squat
pullups
pushups
KTE
65# thruster
KTE
pushups
pullups
65# back squat

151 total reps. Felt really tired since this was my fourth day of working out, especially having done heavy deads the day before. Taking two days off.

Re: Path of Glory

Keep it up man. Good call on the muscle-ups too lol. If anything they're a confidence builder. It's nice to know you can do something like that.

I'm assuming you did that many Jump rope with out them being DU's? I suck at DU's btw.

Just curious what your most challenging exercise was on your non resting rest day (post 5)

Re: Path of Glory

@Peyton
Yeah, all the jumps were standard jumps rope jumps. No DU. Hate those. It's funny cause my abs are still sore from that day. Burpees is hands down the most challenging exercise. Especially when it's the last. I probably spent as much time on burpees as on everything else combined. See at the end, from going at hectic pace, I was starting to see pukie with my peripheral vision, and everytime I'd do a burpee, he would wave at me. Hate that guy!

12/11/08

For time:

4 rounds:
7 pushups
7 pullups
7 thrusters (75#)
7Knees to Elbows

7 mins. This was one hell of a sprint. So much fun! I did the first round in one minute, but got pretty tired right after that. Went all out on this one. Had trouble walking after. Suprisingly I'm not sore today.

12/12/08
Rest Day with some recreational climbing.

Re: Path of Glory

I had a tiny glimpse of ol' pukie today during the .com WOD. It was a monster! I like your homemade WOD.

Do you have a local rock climbing gym you climb at?

Re: Path of Glory

Pukie is such a stalker!!!

My college has a rock climbing barn here that I do bouldering at. When I'm home, I try to catch the "college day" at the local rock gyms to get half off.

Climbing was sweet yesterday. The owners changed all the routes so tons and tons of new stuff. There was this one part where you had to dyno to a hold and then do a muscle up to get to the next hold and then climbing on the ceiling for a bit till finish. I was standing there, watching this two guys keep trying and trying to get past the muscle up and they just couldn't get it. I waited till they finished and then flashed it! I love crossfit!

Rest day!
