elbow pain

I was hoping someone could help I have an annoying pain in my elbow after a few days of heavy w/oís . This is what I noticed, the pain is greater with the elbow extended and less when bent, the pain will increase if I over extend the elbow, The pain is not consistently their I only notice it a few time a day if not working out but it is noticed daily, the pain is behind the forearm ball joint right on top of the bone. I donít know if this matters or not but my thumb has a twitch every so often, I was unable to notice any swelling around the elbow. When I noticed the pain I was doing dips (BW + 40%). I was wondering what is injured, healing time frame and should I see a doctor if so what kind

Simple case of lateral epicondylitis.

As for why it occurs if you're doing deadlifts, cleans, snatches, etc. with bent arms or pulling with your arms that is incorrect technique and one of the reasons why lateral epicondylitis this will develop in people especially CFers.

Learn the technique right. Don't bend your arms in the initial pulls or pull the weight with your arms.
