Re: play list suggestion

Usually some Megadeath, KMFDM, Slayer, Stormtroopers of Death (SOD), Anthrax, Raven's Creed, Drowning Pool, Queensryche usually very loud and heavy stuff. In a pinch or for variety I will use Rage Against the Machine, Flogging Molly, the Mackenzie's, or Metallica

I mix my own MP3's together on the Ipod clone and use earphones because I work out at home, and the wife doesn't like the death metal, thrash metal, heavy metal mix - mind you I expect the neighbors wouldn't like "bodies" at painful volume either!

Re: play list suggestion

The louder, faster and more agressive the better. Metallica, Mudvayne, Slipknot, etc... although for some reason one of my favorites at the moment is Through the Fire and Flames by Dragonforce. Start the song and then make sure you're done with Fran before it's over.

The greatest starting a WOD song EVER is Put On by Young Jeezy. Don't ask me why but it gets me really jacked up.

Pantera - Yesterday don't mean Sh**

This song gets my blood pumping!

Exploited - Why are you doing this to me?

An awesome old school punk band that sounds like theyve got a twist of metal. The only thing I don't like is that they once had a song called F** The USA.

Re: play list suggestion

Do you like metal? Most people don't and I think they're missing out, especially during WODs.

Opeth, Behemoth, Carcass, Amon Amarth, Death, Children of Bodom, In Flames, At The Gates, Between the Buried and Me, Bloodbath, Dark Tranquility, Nile (super heavy). Megadeth works well, as James said, though I like to think of it as MegaDave.

Note: If you want straight heavy, go with Opeth, Behemoth, Bloodbath, Nile. If you want fast but still pretty heavy, go with Children of Bodom and Megadeth. Both of them have extremely fast guitarists.

Disclaimer: If you are not accustomed to this type of music, you may experience heart palpitations and/or general discomfort.

Re: play list suggestion

Do not get me wrong I like metal, but I find for WODS I can not listen to metal straight through.
I like to mix in some hardcore, punk and rap too.
Public Enemy, Throwdown, Black Flag, Biggie, Slayer, Meshuggah, Everytime I Die, Protest the Hero, Young Jeezy, Rage Against the Machine, Rise Against...
Anything that gets me jacked up, really!

Re: play list suggestion

Oh, and DMX.
Nothing gets me as pumped during a WOD as when "Where the Hood At?" comes on.
