Paleo on a Cruise Ship?

Whats up everyone, I have not been on a cruise since I began eating Paleo. I know there is a ton of food on board the ships but I cant remember what "Paleo Friendly" options were available. Can anyone that has had this experience help me out a bit?

Thank you in advance!

If I were going, I would keep out Gluten, legumes, limit dairy and call it good.

Re: Paleo on a Cruise Ship?

I'm not naive enough to think that I'm going to be 100% true to my diet, But I dont want to blow all of my hard work and progress for 7 days of pizza and pasta etc....
Plus, nothing on that ship will taste as good as being lean on the beach will feel. haha

Re: Paleo on a Cruise Ship?

I was on a Disney cruise in April and it was the easiest thing in the world to stay paleo. Ton's of meat options at the lunch buffet, I loaded up on shrimp and mussels along with nice green veggies. At dinner, I always ordered at least two main courses and left the starches. Plenty of unsweetened iced tea too.

Re: Paleo on a Cruise Ship?

With 2 stops in Mexico, I'd say quite a few of those will be thrown in the mix.

Re: Paleo on a Cruise Ship?

My general advice is unless you have some health conditions spend less time worrying about it more time enjoying the cruise.
