The new guy
Hey everyone, I'm 23 years old, 5'9 160lbs. I'm in the military and I've been doing crossfit there for a while now, but not consistently enough that I'm very good at it. After I finished P90x I did a search and found out about a local crossfit box in my area. I went down there yesterday to do a demo class but it didn't go so well since I'm still recovering from a cold. I didn't get past the warm up. I felt bad but I figured I just had an off day (I'm fit, but not as fit as I thought I guess) I'm starting the ramp-up program this Saturday and I should be able to attend regular classes on Monday, so I'm very excited about that. Hopefully I don't embarrass myself again :P
Right now my goals are: to just be in general all around better shape. I want to bring my 5km run time down (from a horrible) 35ish minutes to 25 Increase my pushups and pullups |

Re: The new guy
Well today I did my very first WOD and I must say it was hard but I really enjoyed it. Everyone at the box was really nice and supportive. I can't wait to go back again tomorrow!
